Tuktoyaktuk, NWT on the Arctic Ocean

So, I made it to the Arctic Ocean. The Dempster Highway (plus the extension to Tuk) was 900km and it took 2.5 days. It was raining and the dirt (mud) road was like driving on grease. I did between 30-60 km/hr the whole way. I did kayak in the Arctic Ocean but if you'll notice the wind ripples beside the nose of my kayak it was not kayaking weather. This is August 14-16 and it is 8C and the wind is blowing 30km/h gusting to 40 right off the ocean. I paddled out 100 metres took the pictures and paddled back to shore.

Saw the grizzly on the Dempster as well as a family of fox.
